We caught up with Aaron to find out a bit more about him, what brought him to Tickets for Good, and what he’s most looking forward to in his new role. From his career journey so far to his hidden talents – read on to get to know Aaron a little better.
I am 32 years old , originally from Kent. Currently engaged to my long term partner of 8 and a half years.
I played in professional football academies until I was 18, then did my UEFA coaching badges moved into doing that at semi-professional level after some time coaching in the Arsenal academy.
I then moved to Cheshire in 2016 and essentially had to figure out what else I'm good at! I did some time as an estate agent and managing a retail store until i ended up at Lancashire Cricket where I worked with the best people I have ever worked with / met in my life. I spent a few years there in the ticketing team before moving on to Salford City football club to be their Ticket Office manager. Left there after six months and then ended up applying for the role here at TFG.
My role at TFG is as a New Business Lead. My focus will be on generating new partnerships and speaking to all different venues, companies across many sectors for various events for our members to come and enjoy.
I was super keen to work with TFG because I had built a relationship with them whilst at Lancashire Cricket. I always really enjoyed the time spent working with those who I was in contact with and that was reciprocated across the people I worked with at the time. Everybody was always so kind, happy and personable and it seemed like such a great environment to be in. For me, it was a no brainer.
I am most passionate about engaging with people and opening new doors for people. I feel I am at my best when able to express my personality and building relationships both professionally and personally.
My role fits me well as I am able to bring a wealth of experience gained over a career of varying roles and I can use my winning mentality to push for even more success.
Outside of work, I have 2 beautiful cats called Steve and Toffee, who cause absolute chaos in my life. I am big on sport, in particular football, watching my beloved Arsenal.. and I am also a huge fan of the UFC and golf.
A random fact about me is that I once won a bronze medal for Great Britain at the European Youth Championships for the 10,000m at the age of 17.
Join us in giving a warm welcome to Aaron as he settles into his new role here at Tickets for Good – we’re so excited to have him on board! You can connect with him on LinkedIn here.
