We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager who is not only skilled in crafting dynamic marketing strategies and maintaining brand integrity across platforms but is also driven by a passion for making event attendance inclusive and accessible to all. Tickets for Good will provide full support in meeting the objectives of this role and the successful applicant will be given the freedom to implement their own ideas and strategies providing they achieve the overall company objectives for this role of increasing sales and growing the user base.
The successful applicant will have the capacity and desire to coach and nurture the Marketing Executive and work closely with the Head of Comms and Projects to oversee the overall marketing and communications conducted by Tickets for Good.
Understanding the needs and perspectives of our service users (NHS staff, charity workers and Cost of Living grant recipients) is vital.
Objectives:
- Responsible for creating and sustaining an integrated marketing strategy that ensures brand consistency and integrity across all digital and physical platforms. This will involve overseeing the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and maintaining strong brand guidelines. The role requires active collaboration with high-profile partners to co-create effective marketing initiatives.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly communications across all channels including B2C emails and social platforms, supported by the Marketing Assistant
- Utilise Google Analytics expertly, providing company-wide reporting and insights that support enhanced decision-making for the Product team and broader business objectives.
- Work alongside the Head of Comms to devise and implement a targeted user growth strategy that leverages all available tools and channels
- Either directly manage or oversee the agency responsible for paid social strategies, aiming to optimise ROI and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the communication across all marketing channels including social media, email marketing, the company's website, and platform-specific content, ensuring brand consistency and message alignment both internally and externally.
- Work alongside the Head of Comms & Projects and manage the Marketing Executive as part of the Comms and Marketing team
- Support in the management and application of Google Analytics, collaborating with the Head of Business Intel to refine data collection and interpretation for strategic insights.
- Craft and execute a detailed user growth strategy by analysing current trends and leveraging available marketing tools.
- Have oversight of paid social media campaigns and supervise an agency handling campaign work, to maximise engagement and conversions.
- To lead on and analyse current outreach efforts, with a focus on maximising Tickets for Good's user acquisition and retention.
- Own the development and upkeep of brand guidelines, training the team and external partners to adhere to these standards.
Person Spec:
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Previous work experience within an SME or startup environment is preferred ideally within the ticketing/events industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies across multiple channels that align with business goals.
- Exceptional communication skills, both for internal team leadership and external audience engagement.
- Advanced understanding of Google Analytics, with the ability to transform data into actionable marketing insights.
- Experience in brand guideline development and implementation across multiple platforms.
- The ability to manage a diverse team, as well as agencies, with strong project management skills.
- A creative thinker with the ability to spot and capitalise on emerging marketing trends and tools to drive user growth.
